That the Parliament congratulates the Aberdeen Student Show on raising £167,439.04 for good causes from the 2025 production, Seagully Blonde; notes that Aberdeen Student Show was founded in 1921 and is open to students from the University of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University and North East Scotland College, with this year’s production running from 23 to 25 April 2025 at His Majesty’s Theatre; understands that this is the first time in the show’s 104-year history that over £160,000 has been raised, with every penny going directly to 50 charities and good causes across Aberdeen and the north east; thanks all those involved in the production for making it such a success in raising money for charity, including the acting talent, the production staff and the admin team; hopes that all the students found the experience to be rewarding, and wishes the Aberdeen Student Show all the best for the next production in 2026.
