That the Parliament congratulates the teams at Forfar Farmington Football Club in the under-14s and under-16s age groups for their respective wins in the u14s East Youth League Plate Final and the u16s East League Cup Final; understands that the finals took place on 14 June 2025, with the u14s team winning their final 2-0 against Glenrothes Strollers and the u16s winning 1-0 against Arbroath Yellows; notes that both age groups travelled to Davie Park, Blairgowrie, to play in the matches; recognises that Forfar Farmington Football Club was formed in 1984, before entering a formalised league in 1990 and that, today, Forfar Farmington Football Club offers women and girls a football pathway from mini-kicker sessions for three- to five-year-olds up to their Farmington Ladies team who secured eighth place in the Scottish Women’s Championship league for season 2024-25; applauds the under-14s and under-16s teams on their victories in the finals, and wishes all at Forfar Farmington Football Club every success for the season ahead as they continue developing players and increasing participation for women and girls of all ages.
