Terminal One Youth Centre’s Summer Programme

That the Parliament commends John Lewis & Partners for its donation of £4,000 to Terminal One Youth Centre, based in Blantyre, towards the organisation’s summer programme, which will allow it to provide free activities and lunches for young people in Blantyre, Hillhouse and Burnbank; notes that Terminal One is a youth and community project run by young people for the whole community, which aims to support, develop and inspire young people through the provision of positive and engaging youth work activities; understands that the project offers a diverse variety of activities and resources year-round, including specialist music, dance and sports tuition, regular youth clubs, and a community recording studio for recordings and rehearsals; commends Terminal One staff and volunteers for their continued dedication and commitment to the wellbeing of young people in the community, and wishes them all the very best for 2025’s summer programme.
