St Aidan’s High School at the North Lanarkshire Schools Athletics Championships

That the Parliament congratulates the pupils of St Aidan’s High School in Wishaw on their outstanding performance at the North Lanarkshire Schools Athletics Championships, held at Crown Point Stadium in Glasgow; recognises that the school secured an impressive total of 13 medals across a range of events; commends the dedication and effort of the young athletes, as well as the support of coaches, staff and families; recognises the vital role that sport plays in the physical health, mental wellbeing and personal development of young people across Scotland, and encourages continued commitment to enhancing school sports programmes as a means of nurturing talent, fostering confidence, and promoting health, wellbeing and inclusion among young people in every community.
