That the Parliament congratulates Sandra Maclennan on being appointed Chieftain of the 97th Forres Highland Games, which will take place at Grant Park on 5 July 2025; understands that Grant Park is a beautiful and much-cherished amenity in the centre of the town on account of its floral displays, which are maintained by volunteer group, Forres in Bloom, in which Sandra has played a leading role for many years; notes that Sandra has been a judge for Beautiful Scotland for 20 years and is an active supporter of many local groups, including Forres Area Community Trust, Forres Area Forum, Forres Area Tourism Network Group, and Forres Rotary, and wishes Sandra a joyful and rewarding day when she presides over this historic event.
