Congratulating Maryhill's Charlie Nugent on Raising over £5,000 for Beatson Cancer Charity

That the Parliament congratulates 11-year-old Charlie Nugent from Maryhill on raising over £5,000 for the Beatson Cancer Charity in memory of his grandfather; understands that Charlie undertook this fundraising after being inspired by the care that his grandad received at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre; commends his efforts in organising a sponsored walk and other community fundraising activities; notes the widespread support that Charlie has received from across his local community and beyond; considers that his compassion, determination and commitment to helping others are a credit to him and his family; believes that Charlie has made a meaningful contribution to supporting cancer care in the west of Scotland, and wishes him every success in the future.
