That the Parliament congratulates Kirstie Law, ENT emergency nurse practitioner at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, upon winning the Adult Nursing Award at the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Scotland Nurse of the Year Awards; understands that the awards, which were held on 12 June 2025 at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh, celebrate the outstanding achievements of nursing and midwifery staff across multiple categories; recognises that Kirstie was praised as “exceptional” by her nominator for delivering high-quality, patient-centred emergency care to over 4,500 patients annually and for her innovative approach, which, it understands, reduces hospital admissions and enhances patient flow; understands that Kirstie is a key mentor and educator, shaping the future of ENT nursing in collaboration with Glasgow Caledonian University; praises Kirstie for her hard work and dedication to ENT nursing, and wishes her continued success for the future.
