Falkirk East Raises Vital Funds to Support Strathcarron Hospice

That the Parliament recognises the fundraising efforts that have taken place in Falkirk East in support of Strathcarron Hospice and the vital care that it provides; further recognises the efforts of Laurieston Bowling Club, which organised and hosted a Eurovision Party with activities including fancy dress, karaoke, hula hoop dancing and a quiz, raising a total of £535.30; understands that Larbert High School organised a pre-loved fashion festival for a second year, with students and staff collaborating with local businesses, individuals and teams to ensure that they raised awareness and funds, with the total of £7,800 donated to Strathcarron Hospice; notes the effort of Bo’ness’s David Levin, who challenged himself to walk 82 miles over 10 days to mark his 82nd birthday and fundraise, bringing in a total of £1,784 in donations for the critical hospice provision, and recognises and congratulates all those who have given their time and support to Strathcarron Hospice by fundraising to help it continue to deliver its vital provision.
