  • Submitted by: Pam Duncan-Glancy, Glasgow, Scottish Labour.
  • Date lodged: Wednesday, 11 June 2025
  • Motion reference: S6M-17919

That the Parliament congratulates Partick Library on reaching its centenary milestone; notes that the historic community hub celebrated its 100th year on  5 June 2025 with an event which looked back at its history and how the place has changed over the years; understands that the Glasgow Life facility is not only a place for people to go and read books, it is a resource anyone can visit and socialise with others in the community, and praises staff and everyone involved in ensuring that the library has remained a key community anchor over the last 100 years.
