That the Parliament celebrates the Golden Anniversary Ball, which was held for the 50th anniversary of Befriend a Child, which creates a positive childhood for local young children in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire; congratulates Befriend a Child on raising over £35,000; recognises what it sees as the incredible support that it provides and the hard work of its volunteers; understands that over 250 children have been supported by the charity, and wishes Befriend a Child the very best for the future.
