That the Parliament congratulates Angela Eadie on her recent achievement of completing the London Marathon; understands that Angela, who grew up in Neilston but currently lives in Newton Mearns, used running to help deal with the tragic loss of her father, Davie, who passed away from asbestos cancer; commends Angela on the drive and resilience displayed when she made the decision to take up running in order to help with her grief; acknowledges that after completing training, she entered the London Marathon and finished with a fantastic time of 4 hours and 44 minutes, while also raising £4,500 for Marie Curie Cancer Care after the care that it gave to her father, and congratulates Angela on her desire to compete in future events, such as the Manchester Marathon and the Paris Half-Marathon, and on what it sees as her inspiring display of character in completing such a challenging task.
