That the Parliament congratulates the Eastwood Writers' group on winning a total of four categories at the annual Scottish Association of Writers Conference; understands that the Eastwood group also won trophies in five categories and received three commendations; notes that the Eastwood Writers' group was established in 1984 and that it meets weekly at Clarkston Halls; recognises that the Eastwood Writers' group hosts a range of events, including interactive workshops, afternoons with external speakers and a number of internal competitions, and commends the group for its recent achievements at the conference.
