That the Parliament congratulates Mearnskirk Helping Hands for raising thousands of pounds to support older people in Eastwood; understands that the Newton Mearns-based charity raised £4,200 at a pop-up shop event to help fund work to improve wellbeing and reduce loneliness amongst people from an older age group; further understands that there were hundreds of attendees at the pop-up charity event, and commends the ongoing work of Mearnskirk Helping Hands to provide services and activities for older people.
