Wallacetown Early Years Centre Achieves Communication Friendly Environment Status

That the Parliament congratulates the pupils and staff of Wallacetown Early Years Centre (EYC) in Ayr, following its accreditation as a Communication Friendly Environment; notes that Wallacetown is the first EYC in South Ayrshire to achieve this accreditation, playing an important role in the meeting of the target of all South Ayrshire educational establishments being on the path to receiving communication friendly status by 2026; believes that achieving this status displays a commitment to making communication as easy, effective, and enjoyable as possible, providing opportunities for everyone to talk, listen, understand, and take part; commends the work of all those at Wallacetown for leading the way on this important journey, and looks forward to seeing other establishments in South Ayrshire achieve this accreditation.
