That the Parliament congratulates the East Lothian Courier on being named Weekly Newsbrand of the Year at the 46th Scottish Press Awards; notes that the East Lothian Courier is the best-selling weekly newspaper in Scotland and was named as runner-up in the same Scottish Press Awards category in 2024; recognises what it sees as the importance of local newspapers in keeping residents informed of the stories that affect their community, and thanks all the staff at the East Lothian Courier for all their hard work in delivering an award-winning newspaper.
