That the Parliament welcomes the official opening of the Denis Law Legacy Trail, which was unveiled on 24 May 2025 in the Printfield area of the Aberdeen Donside constituency; understands that the 10-point trail is a walking route through the local community and will celebrate Denis Law’s life, career and impact on Aberdeen; acknowledges the efforts of Councillor Neil Copland, who first proposed the creation of the trail and has since actively worked to make the project a reality, with the trail being developed in collaboration with the Denis Law Legacy Trust, Robert Gordon University’s Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen City Council and Denis’s family; notes that the trail was designed and delivered by Fine Day Studio in collaboration with New Practice; understands that, on the day, there were workshops for families in the Printfield play area, games and activities organised by the Denis Law Legacy Trust, and workshops by Fine Day Studio and the Robert Gordon University Mobile Art School, and commends the efforts of all who have been involved in bringing the Denis Law Legacy Trail to fruition.
