That the Parliament congratulates James Paterson, of Wishaw, on his outstanding fundraising efforts in support of Children 1st; understands that, less than a week after completing the London Marathon in a personal best time, he undertook a gruelling 24-hour running challenge, during which he covered nearly 100 miles; notes that James has taken part in the London Marathon every year since 2009, raising vital funds for Children 1st, which supports vulnerable children and families across Scotland; recognises the incredible physical and mental commitment required for such sustained efforts, and commends James for his dedication, endurance, and ongoing support of a cause that it believes is making a meaningful difference to the lives of children.
