That the Parliament commends South Lanarkshire University Health and Social Care Partnership’s Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) programme; understands that the FNP programme is an evidence-based programme designed to support young parents, to reduce poverty, tackle health inequalities and ensure that the most vulnerable families are able to thrive; further understands that the FNP programme provides support to first-time mothers under the age of 20, starting in early pregnancy and continuing until their child reaches two years old, and believes that the programme is having a positive impact on building trust, confidence and hope with young families.
