Operator Offshore Helicopter Services UK completes 1,000 Life-saving Missions

That the Parliament congratulates Operator Offshore Helicopter Services UK (OHSUK) on reaching the milestone of 1,000 missions since commencing operations at Aberdeen International Airport in April 2015; recognises the critical role of the service in delivering life-saving search and rescue operations across north east Scotland and beyond, often in challenging conditions; acknowledges the dedication and skill of the crew, including pilots, winch operators, paramedics and support staff, in responding to emergencies at sea, in maritime, offshore and coastal environments; notes the service’s collaboration with HM Coastguard and other emergency services to ensure rapid and effective responses, and wishes the team continued success in its vital work to protect and save lives.
