That the Parliament congratulates Lieutenant Colonel Richard Callander LVO OBE TD on his retirement as Lord-Lieutenant for Midlothian; notes that the role of Lord-Lieutenant is to act as His Majesty The King's personal representative in Midlothian, maintaining links between the local groups and the monarchy; thanks Lt Col Richard Callander for his tireless service to Midlothian over the past 15 years in the Midlothian Lieutenancy, as a Deputy Lieutenant, Vice Lord-Lieutenant and Lord-Lieutenant, and wishes Lt Col Richard Callander all the best in his retirement.
