That the Parliament notes that 24 to 30 April 2025 marks World Immunisation Week, an initiative led by the World Health Organization to raise awareness of the importance of immunisation in preventing diseases and promoting public health; acknowledges that vaccines are one of the most effective tools in preventing life-threatening diseases, reducing child mortality and protecting communities from outbreaks; recognises the ongoing global efforts to ensure equitable access to vaccines, particularly in underserved areas, and highlights what it sees as the importance of continued support for immunisation programmes to protect the health of individuals and communities worldwide.
