Orkney-based Historian and Author Angus Konstam Installed into International Pirate Hall of Fame

That the Parliament congratulates Orkney-based historian and author, Angus Konstam, on being installed into the International Pirate Hall of Fame; recognises that his non-fiction title The Pirate Menace: Uncovering the Golden Age of Piracy earned him this prestigious honour; notes that Angus Konstam now sits proudly in the hall of fame alongside notable figures such as Robert Louis Stevenson and Johnny Depp, as well as real-life pirates such as Blackbeard; believes this to be his rightful place, and wishes Angus Konstam well with his future literary endeavours on or off the high seas.
