That the Parliament welcomes the launch of a new service by the airline Ryanair, which will see regular flights to Krakow take off from Aberdeen International Airport; understands that the service to Poland is Ryanair’s fourth destination from Aberdeen International Airport, joining Malaga, Alicante and Faro; notes that Krakow is one of the most highly requested destinations from Aberdeen and has become the airport’s second direct connection to Poland, alongside the popular route to Gdansk; recognises that the airline has also increased its Faro, Alicante and Malaga services to three flights per week; believes that this shows its commitment to operations from the city of Aberdeen, and welcomes the news that demand for European destinations continues to rise in the north east.
