That the Parliament commends the Woodside Network, which hosted its second Woodside Women’s Day event on 22 February 2025; understands that over 80 women took part in the event, which saw an increase in participation on the previous event held in October 2024; notes that the event provided a variety of workshops, presentations and a range of stalls, as well as a free raffle and free lunch in the Fersands café; further notes that the attendees enjoyed workshops in meditation, yoga, and zumba, as well as taking part in the creative activities offered by Station House Media Unit and Fersands Art Group; understands that attendees could also meet with individuals from the Scottish Women’s Budget Group and Scottish Action for Mental Health; congratulates all staff and volunteers at the Woodside Network for all their efforts in organising the event, and wishes them the best for the future.
