That the Parliament notes with concern reports that the £70 million Argyll and Bute Growth Deal has been put on hold by the UK Government; understands that both the UK and Scottish governments had committed £25 million towards projects that would contribute to the region’s regeneration over the next 10 years, including housing developments, facilities to support local business, and the refurbishment of the Rothesay Pavilion; considers that Argyll and Bute Council has understandably commented that it is "obviously concerned" about this development, which leaves the region as the only area in Scotland without a form of growth deal in place, and urges the UK Government to deliver on its promises by joining with the Scottish Government and signing the Argyll and Bute Growth Deal without any further delay.
