That the Parliament notes the 30th anniversary celebrations for Port Seton Centre, first opened on 26 August 1994, which have included a family fun day for the local community; understands that, over the last 30 years, the centre, which is a greatly valued public facility, has been at the heart of the local community in Port Seton and Cockenzie, hosting a wide range of community activities and resources, including a food pantry, public cafe, gym and sports halls, soft play, youth clubs and library facilities, and thanks everyone who has been involved in the centre’s management committee, its staff and volunteers, and the groups, organisations and individuals that have supported and used the centre during its first 30 years.
