Bridges Project Receives £6,240 from the National Lottery Community Fund

That the Parliament congratulates the Bridges Project on receiving a £6,240 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that this will be used to continue running its free peer mentoring service, Listening Peers, for young people aged 13 to 21 who are facing multiple disadvantages and poor mental health issues in East Lothian; understands that the group enables young people to achieve qualifications, youth awards and improves their outcomes; further understands that, in 2023, it supported 253 young individuals, with 174 moving into positive destinations, and thanks the Bridges Project and its staff for their hard work and dedication to helping those in need.
