That the Parliament recognises the passing of Robin McArdle from Newmains; understands that Robin was a popular publican of the local pub, Robin's Bar; further understands that Robin was always a figure in the community, from local shopkeeper and mobile grocer to his final role as a publican; acknowledges his commitment to the community of Newmains and his support for Newmains Gala Day, and expresses its condolences to his family and friends at this sad time.
