Northfield Academy Success in Industrial Cadets Bronze Project

That the Parliament congratulates pupils from Northfield Academy who have achieved their Industrial Cadets Bronze Award and finished in first place in the North of Scotland regional finals; understands that a group of six pupils from Northfield Academy took part in the North of Scotland regional finals at the Industrial Cadets Bronze Project, which was held at the National Subsea Centre in Aberdeen; notes that the Industrial Cadets Bronze Project enables students to develop key skills for learning, life and work, helps to inform their future career paths, and provides opportunities in STEM that are aligned with the Curriculum for Excellence; further notes that at the end of the scheme, students graduate as Bronze-level Industrial Cadets, a nationally recognised award, which students can use as evidence of their experience and take forward to complement their future applications and career journeys; commends the hard work and efforts of all pupils involved, and wishes them the best of luck when they compete in the national finals.
