Recognition for Cherry Road Centre in Bonnyrigg

That the Parliament congratulates Bonnyrigg’s Cherry Road Centre, which supports people with learning disabilities; notes the recognition recently received in the prestigious American publication, Harper's Magazine, in the article entitled, A letter from Bonnyrigg; recognises the positive comments praising Cherry Road’s workshops; further recognises that the article highlights the outstanding work being undertaken by staff; acknowledges the role of Artlink in creating the workshops at Cherry Road, which are designed for people with learning disabilities; commends this work, which it believes can have a life-changing impact on those involved, and wishes the centre’s service users and staff, who provide much needed support, continued success long into the future.
