That the Parliament congratulates Gigha’s Boathouse on receiving a Blue Ribbon at the 2023-24 Good Food Awards; understands that these prestigious awards recognise hard-working teams in the food and drinks industry that strive through hard work for culinary excellence within their field of restaurants, takeaways, gastropubs, hotels, cafes and fish and chip shops; recognises that Blue Ribbons are bestowed upon teams that have the highest customer ratings and votes; acknowledges that The Boathouse was one of only 15 restaurants across the whole of Scotland to receive a Good Food Award, and wishes owner, Sam Berry, and the rest of his team the best of luck for the upcoming 2024 season.
