Celebrating Barra, a Retired K9 Search and Recovery Scotland Dog, for his Induction into the European Animal Heroes Hall of Fame

That the Parliament congratulates Barra, a retired springer spaniel from K9 Search and Recovery Scotland, on his induction into the European Animal Heroes Hall of Fame; further congratulates the hero dog on his 11 years of service as Scotland’s only underwater sniffer dog, bringing closure to Glasgow families with missing loved ones; notes the widespread support and congratulations being offered to Barra from people across Glasgow; further notes the calls for Barra to be the animal mascot of the Lord Provost, and encourages Glasgow City Council to consider this proposal.
