That the Parliament congratulates Milngavie Business Improvement District (BID) on the successes outlined in its recent four-year report; notes that the BID has reportedly delivered £758,000 of investment in Milngavie since 2019, despite the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic; understands that this investment includes improvements to shopfronts and the street scene in the town centre and the start of the West Highland Way, as well as funding for improved Christmas decorations and a range of regular events; further understands that the BID has been highly successful in increasing the reach of its website and social media channels promoting Milngavie; recognises that the BID works alongside a range of local community groups and public agencies to make their investments pay dividends, and wishes the BID continuing success.
