That the Parliament welcomes the inclusion of Galloway and Southern Ayrshire in the recently published The Cool List 2024: the 30 most exciting destinations to visit in 2024 by National Geographic; notes that National Geographic is listing this area, cited as being "Scotland's first UNESCO biosphere reserve", and the biosphere's recent extension, which has taken its area from 2,034 sq miles to 3,780 sq miles; recognises those who work to support the biosphere and its programmes; welcomes what it sees as the potential benefits that this listing will bring to the area's tourist industry, and notes National Geographic's citing of the "richness of landscapes" as one of the attractions of south-west Scotland for travellers.
