That the Parliament congratulates Wrights Butchers in East Kilbride on winning Gold in the Scottish Craft Butchers Traditional Steak Pie Awards 2023; notes that Wrights Butchers in East Kilbride has been a fixture on Hunter Street in the original village for over 70 years, and, after having been bought by its current owner, Stephen, in 1996, continues to uphold a sterling reputation for fresh produce, quality service and award-winning steak pies; recognises Stephen and his outstanding team, who, it believes, continue to earn the support of East Kilbride residents and those further afield, and celebrates this momentous achievement for Stephen and all his team at Wrights Butchers.
