That the Parliament congratulates Tardoes Farm in Ayrshire on winning the Farmers Weekly Sheep Farmer of the Year Award 2023; commends David and Cora Cooper on creating what it believes to be a resilient and successful sheep farming enterprise, which serves the people of Ayrshire and surrounding areas; understands that on presenting this award the independent judge highlighted that Tardoes Farm operates a system that is fit for the future of sheep farming in the UK; acknowledges what it sees as the various challenges facing farmers and the agricultural sector across Scotland, and wishes Tardoes Farm well in the months and years ahead.
