That the Parliament congratulates East Lothian Council on being awarded an Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award; understands that this is the Ministry of Defence's (MoD) highest award for organisations that employ and support reservists, service leavers, veterans and their families, and recognises what it sees as the hard work that has gone into supporting the Armed Forces community in East Lothian, including establishing an Armed Forces Employee Network, improving access to education, volunteering and employment support for service leavers looking to relocate to East Lothian, increasing awareness among schools about support for Armed Forces community pupils, training of frontline staff, and continued partnership working through the Armed Forces Covenant Group.
