That the Parliament celebrates Patrick Walker for reaching the final of the UK Teacher of the Year Awards; understands that the awards ceremony will be held in London in November 2023; appreciates what it sees as the efforts that Patrick undertook to ensure that parents could support their children with their school work during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown; congratulates him on his achievements so far; recognises and values the work that teachers across Scotland, including Glasgow, do to support young people to live up to their full potential; understands that Patrick teaches at Turnbull High School in Bishopbriggs, and wishes him the best of luck.
