That the Parliament commemorates the 80th anniversary of the air crash, which, it understands, occurred at Beinn Lee on the island of North Uist on 15 September 1943; notes with sympathy that 10 United States Air Force airmen sadly lost their lives when the American B24D Liberator crashed in gale force winds, while on route from Iceland to Northern Ireland during the Second World War, and understands that a service will be held at Clachan Memorial on 15 September 2023 at 6.30 pm to remember the fallen airmen.
