That the Parliament congratulates The Tontine hotel in Peebles on being awarded a Travellers’ Choice Award by Tripadvisor, placing it in the top 10% of hotels worldwide; understands that the award is based on reviews and ratings collected over the last 12 months, and that businesses achieving this award consistently demonstrate a commitment to hospitality excellence; recognises that The Tontine is known as “the hotel at the heart of Peebles”, and considers that the Borders is fortunate to have such a high-quality hotel and restaurant locally, contributing to the local tourism offer and encouraging visitors to come, stay and enjoy all that the Scottish Borders has to offer.
