Fife Council Planner Named Planner of the Year

That the Parliament congratulates Sarah Purves, who was recently named Young Planner of the Year at the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Scotland Awards for Planning Excellence; understands that Sarah started working as a trainee planning assistant intern after leaving school, and now plays an integral role in Fife Council's Planning Services; notes that Sarah now leads on large-scale planning applications, and supports young people to get into the planning sector through various routes, not only university; recognises the invaluable work that Sarah does in helping young people across Fife join the planning sector, and wishes Sarah Purves all the very best in her future career.
