That the Parliament recognises the generous in-kind donation of local Inverness companies to support The Oxygen Works in Inverness; notes that The Oxygen Works is a registered Scottish charity, which has been delivering services and therapies, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which improve the lives of people with long-term and complex health conditions for over 30 years; understands that The Oxygen Works has recently seen gas and electricity costs rise from £285 to £900 a month; praises the actions of AES Solar, Edmunson Electrical Algin, ANM Electrical and Ark Estates who, it understands, have come together to donate a new £25,000 solar energy system at the charity’s centre, and believes that this will reduce the charity’s electricity consumption by at least 50% and that it will save two tons of carbon dioxide emissions over its lifetime.
