That the Parliament congratulates the Scottish Owl Centre in Whitburn, West Lothian, on winning the Best Day Out award at the Scottish Hospitality Awards 2023; notes that the Scottish Hospitality Awards celebrate excellence in Scotland’s vibrant hospitality industry, with a focus on recognising outstanding businesses and individuals; understands that the Scottish Owl Centre hosts the world’s largest owl collection and hosts school visits and educational experiences, as well as doing owl conservation work, and commends the staff and volunteers at Whitburn’s Owl Centre for their hard work and dedication to educating and inspiring people about the conservation and environmental issues affecting owl survival, and for their contribution to research and conservation projects at home and abroad.
