Gourock’s Outdoor Swimming Pool Features on New Blur Album Cover

That the Parliament recognises that Gourock’s outdoor pool features prominently on the front cover of a new album, The Ballad of Darren, by English rock band, Blur; celebrates that the Gourock lido, which is run and maintained by Inverclyde Leisure, has been chosen to be the image of an album cover that will undoubtedly be looked at by millions of music fans, and believes that the pool is worthy of public attention, as it is one of Gourock’s most unique facilities, which offers fantastic views of the Clyde Estuary and is known as Scotland’s oldest heated swimming pool.
