Suicide Awareness Campaigner Danny Thain Cycles 4,225 Miles for Charity

That the Parliament commends Danny Thain for cycling 4,225 miles around the coast of the United Kingdom to raise funds for his charity, The World Suicide Prevention Project (TWSPP); understands that Danny commenced the Bike Britain Challenge in February 2023 and completed it in April; further understands that Danny’s GoFundMe page has raised more than £60,000 so far, and that he aims to raise £3 million to establish Scotland’s first mental health rehab centre; notes that the centre would be dedicated to individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts or anything related to suicide; further notes that the centre would employ a group of professionals to handle each aspect of the support process, and wishes Danny all the best with his future endeavours.
