That the Parliament congratulates Port of Aberdeen on being named 2023 Business of the Year at the Northern Star Business Awards; understands that Port of Aberdeen impressed the judging panel with its commitment to the North East Scotland region’s economy; further understands that the development of the Aberdeen South Harbour will support an additional 7,000 jobs and contribute a further £0.9 billion GVA to the economy; notes that Port of Aberdeen recently launched its net zero strategy with the aim of becoming the UK’s first net zero port by 2040, and wishes Port of Aberdeen every success with its future plans.
