Sunamp Ltd Receives King’s Award for Enterprise

That the Parliament welcomes the announcement that the Macmerry-based company, Sunamp Ltd, which has been developing innovative thermal storage solutions since 2005, was one of 148 businesses across the UK named among the first ever recipients of The King’s Awards for Enterprise; understands that the prestigious award programme, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, was established in 1965 to help celebrate the achievements of UK businesses and has been awarded to over 7,000 companies over the last 57 years; commends the 80-strong team at Sunamp for their pioneering work on the design and manufacture of compact heat batteries, which earned the company this outstanding award recognition, and wishes the company continued success for the future.
