Acknowledging Curlers' Success at the World Senior Championships

That the Parliament congratulates curlers Mairi Milne, Katie Loudon, Wendy Johnston and Jackie Lockhart on their impressive performance at the World Senior Curling Championships 2023 in Gangneung, South Korea, where they proudly represented Scotland and returned home with silver medals, adding to their previous year’s bronze; acknowledges the team's dedication and skill, as well as their pride in representing Scotland on the international stage; commends the men's team, including Perth's Graeme Connal, along with Mark Brass, Alistair Scott, and Mark Fraser, for their outstanding achievement in also securing silver medals at the championships; recognises the support shown by fellow Scottish curlers, Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds, who attended the event to cheer on their teammates; notes what it sees as the significant contribution of Perth to the development and success of Scottish curling, and wishes the team well in future competitions, continuing their pursuit of excellence in the sport of curling.
