Ayrshire College Student Receives Ayr Guildry Apprentice of the Year 2023

That the Parliament congratulates Ayr’s Haidee Barclay on being awarded the Ayr Guildry Apprentice of the Year 2023 Award; understands that lecturers of Ayrshire College are asked to nominate a student to receive the accolade by Ayr Guildry during Scottish Apprenticeship Week; notes that Haidee was presented the award on 8 March 2023 at Ayrshire College’s Kilmarnock Campus during the annual John Mather Award event; understands that Haidee has a passion for renewable energy and had been studying the Wind Turbine Technician SCQF Level 6 course at Ayrshire College; further understands that Haidee has now completed her course and secured an apprenticeship with offshore wind company, Ørsted; congratulates Haidee on what it sees as a significant achievement, and wishes her success in her career.
