Dundee Civic Trust Celebrates its 50th Anniversary

That the Parliament congratulates Dundee Civic Trust on its 50th anniversary; understands that the Trust was formed in February 1973; commends what it sees as the valuable work done by the Trust to support the protection and conservation of Dundee’s historic buildings; notes that the Trust encourages the highest standards of design in new buildings and regeneration projects; welcomes the Trust’s programme of events to inform the public about civic design, architecture and conservation; recognises what it sees as the importance of a quality environment and its impact on people’s sense of place and identity; thanks members of the Trust for what it considers the important work that they have done for the City of Dundee over the past 50 years, and wishes them all the very best for the future.
